WETAG CONSULTING IMMOBILIARE was established in 1973 as a traditional real estate company specializing in the trade of residential and commercial property.

Within a decade, WETAG CONSULTING had become one of Ticino’s most successful real estate specialists, spearheading large-scale projects ranging from hotels to luxury residences.

During the depressed real estate market of the 1990s, the previous owner sold the firm to established Locarno-Orselina architects Peter Albrecht and Ueli Schnorf.

The new owners struck a careful balance between maintaining WETAG CONSULTING’s impeccable reputation for service while modernizing the firm to provide solutions to legal issues including the coordination of residential permits and tax filings on behalf of international property owners.

Today, the firm is a growing, robust, competitive, service-oriented enterprise poised as an industry leader for the twenty-first century.

From 2000 – 2005 WETAG CONSULTING was an exclusive affiliate of Sotheby’s International Realty, while from 2005 WETAG CONSULTING represents Christie’s Great Estates as Exclusive Affiliate for the Canton of Ticino.

WETAG CONSULTING is founding member of EREN (European Real Estate Network), the first pan-european association of luxury real estate brokers.
