Your own Vineyard
At LAND VINEYARDS, the vine and the wine are more than merely landmarks. In a unique and completely innovative way in Portugal, LAND VINEYARDS transforms wine and the vine into an enriching personal experience.
Here you will be able to grow your very own vines on your property and to make your own wine in the winery of the complex; you will be in control of the entire process, from the selection of the grapes to the winemaking in a special micro-vat. You will also be able to select your own barrels for ageing the wine and to choose the type of bottle and label, for you to make your wine.

LAND & Real Eco Respect
LAND VINEYARDS stands out for its high degree of environmental orientation, being the first development in Portugal to be certified pursuant to the BREEAM standard.
BREEAM (BRE – Environmental Assessing Method) is a certification standard for sustainable building, recognised as one of the main international benchmarks in this field. BREEAM assess the environmental performance of buildings in respect of energy use, pollution, materials used, water consumption, ecology, land use and well-being, in a transparent way.
The sustainable tourist management of the complex will also be certified by an internationally recognised standard (ISO 14001).
The project will be highly energy efficient using, amongst other things, integrated solar energy for climatisation, domestic water heating and micro generation of electricity.

Wine Club
The option of making your own wine is available to all property owners who are members of the WineClub, even to those opting out of having their own vineyard. In that instance their wine will be produced by using grapes of the common vineyards (about 4 hectares), selected by the interested party.
Every Wine Club member will have access to oenology courses and may participate in wine competitions and use the winery for wine making and ageing in special vats. They may also have expert personalized assistance from an oenologist and, in addition, will be able to have a “garrafeira” (wine cellar) in the restaurant, allowing them to serve their own wine.
Restaurant
Boasting stunning views of Montemor-o-Novo and its castle, the LAND VINEYARDS restaurant will offer a menu drawing on the culinary traditions of the Alentejo, reinterpreted by the Chefs of LÁGRIMAS group, which is responsible for providing the restaurant conception. Dishes will be prepared using natural organic produce from nearby farms, thus ensuring exquisite authenticity and flavour.
Wine will be the central theme of this wine destination restaurant. The wine list will be rich and varied, with special emphasis on wines from the Alentejo, and will include wines produced by a number of property owners.
Organic Spa
Consistent with the unique OrganicSpa concept, the LAND VINEYARDS wellness centre will offer a variety of treatments and experiences formulated around natural ingredients grown in the property, such as grapes, olives and citrus fruits. Deeply rooted in the rural traditions from which it draws inspiration, LAND OrganicSpa will have several treatment rooms, fitness rooms, a Turkish bath and an indoor heated swimming pool, overlooking the serene and relaxing scenery.
