This sophisticated Palladian-style villa lies only 30 minutes away from Venice and is entirely immersed in a garden area spanning 10 hectares. The property covers a surface area of 5500m² and offers a total of 15 bedrooms plus 10 bathrooms. It comprises the villa, different buildings, colonnades (West and East), a former bakery and former greenhouse buildings, a canteen, a technical room, a porter’s lodge and a conference room in the 5000m² basement. It was initially designed by Architect Francesco Maria Preti, built in 1750 by the Spinoza noble family and then completed by Architect Giovanni Miazzi. The villa was later sold to a renowned Venetian firm and underwent full structural refurbishment by architects Afra and Tobia Scarpa, who maintained the architectural highlights and added high-calibre facilities and furnishings.

The main floor of the property, or ‘piano nobile’, is typified by its Venetian flooring (‘terrazzo’), walls and ceilings which come complete with impressive decoration including floral patterns. This floor boasts the most impressive and luxurious rooms in the entire residence, including the reading room with its adorned walls, the dining room, the spacious party room and other additional rooms. The second floor consists of sizeable bedrooms with dressing rooms and private ensuite bathrooms. As for the ground floor, it contains a former Trophy room with Egyptian features as well as utility rooms. There is a grand staircase at the front of the property leading from the main floor down to the gardens, striking statues, a gable roof, arch windows and Corinthian columns - all traditional features of a Palladian building.

The colonnades situated next to the villa occupy a rectangular surface area of 2200m² and are laid out over three floors. Originally used as accommodation for peasants and to store farming supplies, they boast two spacious open-plan gallery areas in the centre of the facades, their semi-columns and semicircular arches are particularly noteworthy features.

The additional buildings bordering the garden area of the property cover around 1300m². The 5000m² space in the building’s basement, currently used as a conference area, could equally be converted into a sports/wellness centre, a gym or a covered riding area. The residence’s large rooms are versatile, with potential to be used as reception rooms, offices or games rooms, among others. The building is also fitted with a wide selection of outstanding installations, including heating via a natural gas boiler, air exchange, air conditioning, a dehumidifier for the basement and air handling units for the colonnades and the villa. There is also an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), an electrical room, a low and medium-voltage transformer, a gasoline engine generator, firewater ring mains, smoke detectors, fire extinguishing systems, fire hoses and extinguishers, an irrigation system for the gardens, a data network, an alarm system and CCTV.
